Overview: This 17-day Vietnam golf tour combines top-tier golfing with rich cultural experiences. Starting in Hanoi, you’ll explore the city’s highlights and enjoy rounds at Thanh Lanh Valley Golf & Resort, FLC Ha Long Bay, and Phoenix Golf Resort. The tour continues with scenic cruises in Ha Long Bay, cultural visits in Hue and Hoi An, and rounds at Laguna Lang Co, Hoiana Shores, and Montgomerie Links. The journey concludes with golfing at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course and a Mekong Delta excursion before departing from Ho Chi Minh City.
Arriving at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel. You’ll have time to relax after your journey. You’ll spend the night in Hanoi.
You’ll have the whole day to explore Vietnam’s capital city. Your guide will take you to the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam dating back to the 11th century, and a popular attraction, as is Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, his simple stilt house where he lived and wworked, and the museum dedicated to his memory.
After lunch, you’ll drive to the excellent Ethnology Museum for an overview of Vietnam’s 54 distinct ethnic groups. Then you’ll visit Hoa Lo Prison – better known by captured US pilots as the ‘Hanoi Hilton’. The bustling Old Quarter is a magnet for visitors, it’s noisy and hectic, but definitely a ‘must-see’ attraction. The Old Quarter is a maze of shopping streets and restaurants with a hotchpotch of architecture – traditional tube houses, religious buildings, artisfans’ workshops and cottages, colonial houses and modern concrete edifices.
In the evening, you’ll have tickets for a performance of traditional Water Puppetry (an art form unique to northern Vietnam, and a good, light-hearted introduction to its rural culture). You’ll spend the night in Hanoi.
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up to Thanh Lanh Valley Golf & Resort which is a Vietnam masterpiece of famous designer Sir Nick Faldo. Located at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level, Thanh Lanh Valley Golf & Resort has a cool climate all year round, with an average temperature of 18-25 degrees Celsius. Perfect golf conditions make the two-hour drive from Hanoi worth the effort. A bypass road connecting Tam Dao, Thanh Lanh, and Dai Lai golf areas makes several excellent golf clubs easily reachable.
You’ll enjoy a round of 18 holes. After golfing, you’ll be driven back to your hotel in Hanoi. You’ll spend the night in Hanoi.

After an early breakfast, you’ll leave for Ha Long Bay, one of the most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Areas and the world’s largest marine limestone ‘karst’ landscape. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed at Capella Cruise Center on Tuan Chau International Port by our experienced staff. You’re guided to complete the check-in procedure at the waiting lounge before boarding for the cruise.
A tender boat will transfer you from the port to the cruise, where you’ll be greeted with a welcome drink. The Cruise Manager and crew will introduce you to the ship with a short briefing and a rundown of safety regulations.
Lunch is served at the Harmony of the Sea Restaurant as the cruise sets off towards Lan Ha Bay. You’ll be treated to spectacular views of limestone formations as you enjoy your meal. Later, the cruise anchors at Frog Lagoon, where you can take advantage of Capella’s wide array of entertainment options. Whether you choose to relax in the Infinity Oasis Pool and Jacuzzi, feel the adrenaline with the Inflatable Water Slide, swim in the emerald waters, or explore the landscape with a kayak or SUP, there’s something for everyone. You can even enjoy a round of mini-golf on the top deck.
As the day winds down, relax at the Spirit of the Sea Lounge or the Ocean Sky Sundeck with a refreshing drink, taking advantage of the “Buy 1, Get 1 Free” happy hour while watching the sunset over the bay. Afterward, join a fun cooking demonstration led by the cruise chefs, learning to prepare local dishes. Dinner is a gourmet affair, offering a fusion of cuisines at the Harmony of the Sea Restaurant as the nighttime beauty of the bay unfolds.
For evening entertainment, immerse yourself in music at the Spirit of the Sea Lounge, try karaoke at the Sea Melody Theatre, challenge friends to a game of poker or board games in the Cigar & Poker Room, or join a night squid-fishing session. If you prefer a quiet night, simply relax on your balcony and watch as night falls over Ha Long and Lan Ha Bay. You’ll spend a peaceful night onboard in your luxurious Oasis Suite.
Start your day with a Tai-chi class on the deck, embracing the fresh energy of the morning while watching the sunrise at the Ocean Sky Sundeck. Afterward, enjoy a light breakfast at the Harmony of the Sea Restaurant.
The adventure continues as you visit the Dark & Bright Cave, where you’ll be guided through the serene landscape in traditional bamboo rowing boats. As you cruise towards Bright Cave, you’ll witness a unique passageway that opens at water level, leading to a peaceful, round lake encircled by lush trees and towering stone cliffs.
After the cave excursion, return to the Capella Cruise, where you can relax in your cabin and gather your belongings before checking out. A delicious brunch awaits at the Harmony of the Sea Restaurant as the cruise sails back toward the port.
Once back at Tuan Chau International Port, a tender boat will take you to shore, where you’ll be picked up to Noi Bai airport for your departure flight to Hue. When you arrive, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel to check in. You’ll spend the night in Hue.
Your morning will begin with a cruise along the Perfume River to visit to the Thien Mu Pagoda. From there, you’ll visit the Imperial Citadel and then drive to the Royal Tombs of Emperor Minh Mang and, in the afternoon, Emperor Khai Dinh. After that, you’ll return to Hue to visit one of city’s ‘garden houses’ and then return to your hotel to freshen-up.
In the evening, you’ll sit down for a private dinner in the pleasant surroundings and a comfortable atmosphere of another of Ngoc Son Princess garden house. The owner will prepare and serve a traditional meal based on the distinctive characteristics of classic Hue cuisine. You’ll spend the night in Hue.
In the morning, your car will drive you to Lang Co. On the way, you’ll cross the Hai Van mountain pass. The views from the top are excellent – you should be able to see Lang Co beach and village, and the lagoon far below. Upon arrival at the Lang Co Beach Resort, you’ll have a whole day free for swimming, sunbathing or relaxing. You’ll spend the night in Lang Co.
After breakfast, you’ll be driven to Laguna Lang Co Golf Club for one round of 18 holes. Laguna Lang Co Golf Club is nestled in central Vietnam near Lang Co Bay and a pristine 3-kilometer beach, offers a par-71 course designed by Sir Nick Faldo. Hosting the annual finals of the Faldo Series Asia, it attracts players of all levels. With its ocean views, mountainous backdrop, and diverse terrain, including rice paddies and streams, each hole offers a unique challenge.
After golfing, you’ll be driven back to your resort. You’ll spend the night in Lang Co.

You’ll have time to relax in the morning. In the afternoon, your car and driver will arrive to take you to Hoi An for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, your guide will mfeet you to show you the Ancient Town and explain its considerable significance in the history of Vietnam. You’ll be free in the afternoon. You’ll spend the night in Hoi An.
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up and taken to Hoiana Shores Golf Club, the first golf course in Vietnam designed by Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects (RTJ II). Located about 8 kilometers south of Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hoiana Shores is set along the Vietnamese coastline, with the course winding through coastal dunes. Fittingly for a place known as “The City of Lanterns,” the course replaces traditional flags with lanterns atop the pins. You’ll enjoy a round of 18 holes. After golfing, you’ll be driven back to your hotel in Hoi An. You’ll spend the night in Hoi An.

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up to the Montgomerie Links to tee off. Designed by Colin Montgomerie, the course is rated one of the best in Asia. The Course routing is an exciting mixture of heartland and links style holes, which cater for all handicappers, beginners or great players. The designer makes sure you would love this exciting golf layout. Enjoy a round of golf at the 18-hole links-style course.
After golfing, you’ll be driven to your hotel and have free time to spend as you wish. You’ll spend the night in Hoi An.

You’ll be free in the morning until your car anfd driver arrive to take you to Danang airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. When you arrive, a private car will be waiting to take you to your hotel in the city centre. After checking in, you’ll be free for a preliminary wander around District 1. Your overnight will be in Ho Chi Minh City.
After breakfast, your guide will take you to visit the famous Cu Chi tunnels, a Byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers, rooms and booby traps used by both the Vietminh and the Viet Cong to suddenly materialise as if from nowhere, launch a lightning ambush, and vanish equally rapidly. After lunch, you’ll return to Ho Chi Minh City for the afternoon city tour.
Your guide will show you around Ho Chi Minh City. You’ll visit the Notre Dame Catholic Church and Centre Post Office. You’ll also call in the Reunification Hall – an early colonial masterpiece constructed to accommodate the Governor –general of Indochina. The Binh Tay market and the China Town are worth a stroll to explore the local daily life and the culture mix.You’ll spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.
After breakfast, your driver will take you to Tan Son Nhat Golf Course which is a public golf course located 4 kilometers from the center of Ho Chi Minh City and one of Saigon’s most popular courses. Built across 156 hectares, the 36-hole course borders the Tan Son Nhat Airport – the busiest in Vietnam.
You’ll enjoy a round of 18 holes. After golfing, you’ll be driven back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. You’ll spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.
At 08.00, depart for a 1.5-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Tre, one of the country’s southern provinces, situated in the Delta of the Mekong River. Take in the highway as you leave behind the busy city. Pass Rach Mieu bridge before reaching Huu Dinh hamlet. Get on a tri-motor cycle (xe loi) ride to enjoy the lush surroundings of rice paddies and fruit farms alongside the narrow village roads.
Arrive at the waterfront, board the charming Mango Cruise for a glimpse at the Delta scenery while enjoying coconut juice. First stop for a visit at the coconut processing, then back to your cruise and the cruise will stop at a brick making shop, where the locals still use centuries-old traditional methods to make the bricks by hand where you will start a Bicycle trip around Phong Nam village around 4km, through gardens and stop at a coconut spirits factory, which is a popular drink among the natives in Vietnam. It is a sweet, fresh or mildly fermented sap taken from tapping the young expanded flowers of the coconut, good for the health. Continue bicycle trip about 10-15 minutes to Mrs. Huong’s home. Her family live on fishing, shrimp and farming. Enjoy the tropical fruits and in her garden before taking the rowing sampan, be paddled by a personalized rower trip to discover the maze of small canals.
Then rowing you back to your mango boat and head to Mango home restaurant, enjoy your 5 course lunch and freshen up before switch to a bicycle and ride 500m About 4 minutes (or 7-10 minutes walk) on village roads past green gardens and local houses, and stop at another local house of Mr Sau Tuong, a former Vietcong soldier who survived two years fighting the Khmer Rouge in Phnom Penh. Now he and his wife live on making rice paper which is the most famous specialty of My Long village. Have a chat with him and enjoy the crispy rice paper made by his wife, and see how it is made.
After the visit, the boat will be waiting for you at the pier nearby to bring you back to Ben Tre city where your car will be ready to take you back to Ho Chi Minh City. Your overnight stay will be in Ho Chi Minh City.
Your time will be your own until your private car and driver arrives to take you to Tan Son Nhat airport for your departure flight. End of services.
