Overview: This 5-day tour offers a deep dive into the natural beauty and cultural richness of Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Starting from Hanoi, you’ll trek through stunning landscapes, including valleys, rice terraces, and ethnic villages. Each day features hiking through hidden gems and picturesque spots, with stays in charming lodges and homestays. The tour culminates with a scenic transfer back to Hanoi after a final trek through the lush Pu Luong jungle.

Itinerary


After lunch, you’ll take a short car ride in about 1 hour before we set off for our hiking through the beauty of Pu Luong nature reserve, the trek is intermediate level and requires some walking up hills but it’s worth your hike as we will see many spectacular views of villages and terraces.

You’ll wake up early to witness more local activities in the morning. After having breakfast, you’ll say good-bye to our host for your good hike ahead. You’ll start your hiking through hidden gems of Pu Luong including beautiful view of valleys, nice terraces and peaceful villages.

Lunch will be prepared by a local family then you’ll continue your trek through more villages to reach to Hieu village in the afternoon to check in your lodge. You’ll take rest as you wish or stroll around the village to interact with the locals and visit the beautiful waterfall nearby. You’ll stay in your own private bungalow with mountain view.

After breakfast, you’ll embark on another day of village-to-village trekking, passing by cool streams. You’ll take a short break for lunch en route, then follow the local paths through rice paddies to reach our homestay. There, you can enjoy a shower, dinner, and stay the night.

 

After breakfast, you’ll leave Nua village and begin a full day trek, climbing deeper into the Pu Luong Nature Reserve. A picnic lunch will be served along the way. You’ll continue trekking, passing through ethnic villages, and end the day with a beautiful sunset (weather permitting) in Son village. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at our Thai homestay.

Breakfast is prepared by your guide then you’ll start trekking by 8:00 AM. Today we will have an easy day with small ups and downs through rice paddies and the Pu Luong jungle. After about 2.5 hours we get to Ton village. Our driver will be waiting for us there to transfer us to Muong Khen town for lunch. Arrive and end in Hanoi in the late afternoon.
