Thanks for your email and phone call of today.

We did not have time to answer your email yesterday and this morning we prepared for the days car ride.

I think it should be of interest to your company to get feedback from a client so I will work through our observations

1. Accommodations:

Best hotel: The Victoria Hotel in Chau Doc is perfect. Staff very kind and attentive, quality of room very good, food in restaurant very, very good and good location.

The Golf Holte in Can Tho Smells like what it is, a government hotel and an older hotel but it is ok. We cannot yet tell you about the restaurant. The view room the 8th floor of the hotel is spectacular.

Golden Silk Boutique In Hanoi, Gerbera Hotel in Hue, Liberty Central In Ho Chi Minh City: Excellent.

Hoi An Bamboo Village Resort in Hoi An: Your hotel may have been ok as per quality but it is some two kilometres out of town and down small lanes. Impossible

The hotel we finally found was not good either (Pho Hoi Riverside ). The rooms small, damp and dingy

Hoi An is a big “Sales Pitch” town. They grab you off the street. We found little of interest except a good Italian Restaurant and a private boat ride up the river (Which also became a sales pitch).

You must consider several factors when choosing hotels for clients. Location is important as well as hotel quality. Hue for example = good hotel and excellent location, within walking distance of center.  Hue also has history and culture.

Nha Trang Michelia: An excellent Hotel, to be recommended.

The Grand Silverland Hotel was perfect, the location excellent, the facilities and room were perfect. The foods were very good. Both some Vietnamese and a lot of Western type foods. The coffee was the best yet and with “Normal” ( Big, Normal size) cups.

You can use with confidence the hotel Grand Silverland for any and all of your clients. The hotel is brand new. It was opened only this January. It is privately owned and “smells: like it. Everything works.

In comparison to Nha Trang, the clientele here is good quality international, rather than the 80% fat Russians stuffing themselves at Breakfast in hotel Michelea and at the Bamboo Resort in Mui Ne. It seems the Russians come on cheap package tours. They feed themselves enough at breakfast so as not to spend money for lunch and dinner. The staff in both hotels told me that they even try to carry food away.

2. Drivers and guides:

All on time, correct and kind, some are more capable than others. Mr Phuoc is the best, he is the most knowledgeable. There are few topics that he does not know and we have had time to talk as you know.

Car trips have been hard and long and sometimes boring. Time in Hoi An was time wasted. We will be pleased to get to Saigon and learn a little bit about the city.

Guide: Mr. Phuoc of  the central part, we would like you to know Mr. Phuoc and driver were excellent company on the trip. Mr. Phuoc is, as I said, is most knowledgeable.

He was the best guide of the tour, we laugted together for the whole time.

The driver was also good, he had a sense of humor and spoke some English. We all laugh together.

Guide Ms. Giang in Saigon: Today we met Ms. Giang, she was very personable, a good perfestional her English was the best of your guides, by far

3. Summary:

Good tour, sometimes hard work but interesting. Thank you for the tour we will recommend Luxury Travel Agency Vietnam to others.
